Phase 2 - Preliminary Design

Maui Oceanview has quickly assembled a proposal to put before the Maui County and State to increase the workforce units on Pulelehua’s second phase. The above plan is a preliminary version that our team is working on with the state and county to use this approved development to help the most amount of impacted families. Maui Oceanview is underway working with the DoE on working on a temporary school site, as well as temporary housing plans on its 3rd phase, and needs the community support and the county to quickly expedite the development to keep West Maui families in West Maui.

This increased density proposal requires State and County funding and zoning approval before it can be developed.

Current Approved Zoned Density: 400 units of Market Rate Rentals, 300 units of Workforce Rentals, 100 units of Affordable For Sale, ~70,000 Retail SF, 100 Market Rate Single Family Lots with the rights to 100 Ohana units on those Single Family Lots.

Proposed Density: 1,060 units of Workforce Rentals, 100 units of Affordable For Sale Units, ~70,000 Retail SF, 100 Market Rate Single Family Lots with rights to 100 Ohana units on those Single Family lots.
